Product Description
The Bow kite, a Rainer Hoffmann design, is a fabulous item that should be in any keen kite-flier's collection. It's quite quick and simple to assemble, flies easily, and looks magnificent in the sky. It "sails" in an upright stance, and from the back resembles an old-time sailing ship. Its appearance changes depending on your angle of view. A small weight-bag is included to help performance in higher winds. This new version of the Bow with its brilliant color scheme of red and yellow will stand out anywhere, and be an eye-catching part of any flying display.

Very Unique Flyer!
Always wanted a large designer kite in mango orange that does NOT require an anchor like the large ultrafoils or sleds that can really pull hard! The Reiner Hoffman Sunrise Bow fulfills my dream of flying a superbly contrastive kite against light clouds & blue sky. It also gives a bonus of its distinctive vertical position in flight. When you fly the Sunrise Bow, onlookers absolutely cannot resist asking questions about this amazing design & a young-un or two (their parents, also!) will brave asking if they can hold the reel & fly it for a few minutes. A very gentle flyer for a 10-ft. marvel! In slightly gustier conditions, I dispense w/ the included weight bag (which, in my opinion, detracts from the free flight of the matching ribbon tails sewn onto the trailing edges of the center horizontal vanes) & instead I attach (2) 15-ft. prs. of orange & aqua blue ribbon tails on swivel clips to the welded ring @ the bottom tip, (1) pr. on each side of the nock @ the end of the bow rod which engages the ring to hold the kite fully open in flight. Easy-peasy to assemble & disassemble on the field. Very sturdy, envelope case in orange & yellow (so you won’t forget it either on the beach or on a grassy field). The case has nylon stays sewn in on the inside through which you slide the disassembled kite rods to keep them secure in transit. The kite itself collapses fully flat & slides into the envelope case. Picture Pretty Kites sends this kite super securely in stiff cardboard w/ the kite & case inside an additional plastic insulator for the safest shipping. See the Sunrise Bow in flight in one of the countless learning videos on YouTube by my friend & flying mentor, Jim Nicholls, of New Zealand! Aloha & have fun!

a Stunner of a Kite, Quality construct and nice material workmanship
Thanks for placing Kite Package in a plastic liner bag inside shipping carton. It's the little things like this concern for shipping product safety that I appreciate. Thank you Sincerely
